Breakthrough. Anti-climatic one.

Boss kept saying - this means a change in life style.

I know what he meant, but funny enough he seemed more excited about my potential life changing more than myself.

Sure, i have looked forward to this. It even overshoots my expectations by a far shot. I am supposed to be super excited about this but it seems that it’s a rather anti climatic breakthrough.

climbing up the ladder is exhausting, especially if you’re climbing up the ladder for the pot of gold on the top. it’d be more interesting if you’re driven by bragging rights than digits. at least that helps you get out of bed on a monday morning a lot easier.

i don’t think my life style will change a lot because of this.

though, it’d suck if this blog backfires my ass five years later when i am still in this job, waiting for the bonus to pay off my tax bill.

let’s hope that day will never come.
